Let’s take a quick trip down memory lane to Slipknot’s last run across Europe. Back in 2024, Slipknot toured for the 25th birthday of their first 1999 album.

For those shows, the band broke out vintage red jumpsuits and original horror movie masks from the 1990s. They wanted to look like the scrappy Iowa metalheads who exploded onto the scene with raw, aggressive hits like “Wait and Bleed” and “Spit It Out”.

The setlists focused on old school tracks not performed live in years – maybe even decades for a few! Fans freaked out hearing rare gems like “Surfacing,” “Prosthetics,” and more. Some audiences hadn’t witnessed these savage Slipknot classics since they themselves were angsty pre-teens!

Some slots place Slipknot among the crushing lineup of extreme bands destroying eardrums on giant festival stages built specially for high decibel acts. We’re talking stages engineered to handle aggressive audio power without literally crumbling under the sheer force!

No clue yet whether Slipknot plans reprising last year’s far-out era wardrobe and performance.
